About The Artist
Hi! I’m Erin, the artist behind Little Goldfinch Artistry based out of Eastern Washington State.
I have loved art ever since I could hold a crayon in my hand. I was always creating art at home throughout my childhood and signed up for every art class that I could.
That inspiration took me to art school where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts at the University of Alaska Anchorage. I graduated from college with two degrees: fine art & communications. After graduating, I unfortunately paused making art and went into the corporate world. I don’t regret my 9-5. I got to work with some amazing people along the way, but I wasn’t feeling fulfilled with my day-to-day. After having my second baby, I realized life was too short and I needed to make some changes. So I quit my job to spend more time raising my babies.
As part of my postpartum journey, I found art again. I dusted off my watercolor supplies and started painting. It was then that everything clicked into place. I felt happy to my core. It was then that Little Goldfinch Artistry was born.
Everyone has their own journey. Thank you for being a part of mine!
Much Love,
Erin
